Privacy Policy

seattle.fishis an editorial guide. We don't have accounts, don't take orders or payments, and don't run a checkout of any kind, so there's very little personal data involved in using this site.

1. What we collect

   Standard web server logs (like IP address, browser type, and pages visited) that are generated automatically by hosting infrastructure. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and to fix or update the site.

2. Analytics

   We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages people read. It uses no cookies and doesn't follow you across other sites: it records the page visited, the referring site, approximate location, and device, operating system and browser type. Visitors are counted using a hash derived from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so there's no persistent identifier and no profile of you. 3. What we don't collect

   We don't collect names, addresses, or payment information, because we never ask for them. There's no cart, no account, and no order to fulfill. We don't sell or share what little we do collect.

4. Outbound links

   This site links out to charter operators, seafood markets, restaurants, and online seafood shippers, some of which are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). Once you click through, you're on that company's site and subject to its own privacy policy. We don't control or see what happens there.
